Eric Gagne

The former great closer who seemed to be invincible during the 9th inning while pitching for the Dodgers has seem to have fallen on harsh times. Eric Gagne of the Brewers was officially placed on the 15-Day DL with tendinitis in his pitching shoulder. With Gagne throwing batting practice during games, he isn't really worth of a spot on your team right now.

For owners, this stint on the DL should hopefully re-align his mental state and hopefully bring his pitching mechanics or whatever his problems are back into a resonable fantasy option in the 9th inning. NL-only, don't drop him. For mixed leagues only keep him on your team if you have room to spare. But with the Brewers bullpen not being so reliable these days, the only options you have are Torres and Mota, both not reliable.

If you have Gagne, make sure to keep your eyes on the roller coaster that is closers.
