ERA/WHIP Help

Now that we are a few months into the season it is time to really think about positioning and where you are with respect to averages (ERA/WHIP). These two categories are two that can easily get out of hand and if you are not careful you will find yourself on the bottom and unable to get yourself up.

After piling on 700-800 innings it will get harder and harder to change your ERA/WHIP in a positive way. So, as I suggested before go out and grab a few RP who are giving owners high K's, low ERA/WHIP, and grabbing a few vulture saves.

Below are some pitchers who fall in this category. By putting some of these guys in your daily lineup for 2 weeks you will most likely see a difference in your ERA/WHIP.

Joey Devine - A's
Scott Downs - Blue Jays
Taylor Buchholz - Rockies
Grant Balfour - Rays
Chad Durbin - Phillies
Scott Linebrink - White Sox
