Wagner Time

Last night Billy Wagner blew his 3rd consecutive save opportunity. In a previous post I suggested that this wasn't a problem and there is nothing to worry about and I'm going to stick with this. Wagner is just going through a tough spot in the season and in my eyes, this is a stat correction. Wagner was not going to stay at a 0.36ERA, which is where he was at before the 3 consecutive blown saves.

His career ERA is 2.40 and his current ERA is 2.33 so he is diverting back to his career average. As long as he doesn't have any physical pain he should overcome this stretch of trouble on the mound.
